    I received the shoes within a week, the item description was "new in the box" the shoes arrived in a padded envelope. But they do look like they are new. I myself would not put new in the box if they were not in the original box. I would have put new!

    item description was incorrect, item is not a bronze sculpture as described but made of a spelter type material and then painted to look like bronze... if this was for me, I'd send it back and get a refund, but as a gift. it will be ok... seller was responsive and shipped quickly, but all sellars of "bronze sculptures" need to get educated as to what a true bronze sculpture really is so they can be acurate in their descriptions. There is plenty of on line education available to do this.
