Simple solution to original overdesigned hinges.
The original hinges were breaking after two years of moderate use. Seems they used soft rivets to act as a high-stress point hinge. Poor choice.
I searched for a solution and found these. Simple design, easy to install (although some folks seem to have trouble). Predrill your holes and they'll go in easy.
I didn't have to replace my original hinges, I simply drilled out all the soft rivets and removed the original spring and adjustment parts leaving a plain hinge when I was done. Then, I installed all these door props and we're now trouble-free.

Fit, Form & Function
1 of 1 found this helpful Arrived well packaged, all the parts fit into my old grill perfectly and they "burned in" quickly without a lot of smelly oils or residue burning off - and I swear, my steaks that evening tasted the best they had for years! I know, a few pieces of new metal can't make food taste better - but I'm thinking all the old crud and rust on my old burners and flavor plates must have been polluting my food.

Worked first time!
Covers a wide range of openers - just make sure your opener is on the compatible list and this will do the job for you. While programming it and running it to test, my door opener broke (bent motor shaft) - and I had to replace my opener with a new one that was NOT compatible with this keypad - my tough luck, the seller did nothing wrong. This one did work with my old opener - easy to program and all.
