Doomy Masterpiece
This French band released some of the darkest, doomiest prog rock I've ever heard. If Magma is music from a dark castle, then Catherine Ribeiro+Alpes is music from the dungeon of this castle!
But be forewarned: There's no guitars, on this. Instead, you get organ, heavy bass, electronic percussion, some acoustic guitar, and the amazing voice of Miss Ribeiro. This album's high point is the title track "Paix," an absolute masterpiece of doom!

What is Fructose?
1 of 2 found this helpful Fructose is a natural sugar substitute derived from fruit. It tastes very close to sugar, and it doesn't have the nasty bitter aftertaste of most other non-sugar sweeteners. In fact, it has a very nice "cool" flavor. And it's slightly sweeter than sugar, which means you don't have to use so much of it.
This cost me about $9, including postage--a very good value.

Ah, I love these multi-movie sets! 100 great--well, not always!--public domain horror movies for about $25; that's about a quarter, per film!
One major drawback: Sometimes, the prints they use are not the best quality. Still, this is a great value, and a great way to see these largely forgotten films.
