Lovely historic replica
My Mum is from Thornbury and used to travel on one of these every day, so it's spot on!

Great way of adding steps to a layout!
1 of 1 found this helpful It's[retty difficult to find useful steps, but this is a really flexible kit. I'm glad I bought 2, as it's easy to misalign the steps initially, until you get a decent technique (i.e. use the side pieces as a guide), but once you get the hand of it they're pretty easy to use. The other great thing about this kit is that it's fairly easily flexible too, so you don't have to use the exact designs on the packaging... as you'll see from what I've done.
I've used some for a dockside stairway, but also used them for a platform subway!
You also end-up with lots of really useful bits of 3mm MDF, which you can use for all sorts of other modelling bits. I used a spar as a facade for an 'iron bridge' once I'd extracted the steps, but I've also used leftovers for lots of other stuff too.
Anyway, I digress... it's a little ffiddly, but I'm extremely pleased with the end result and would recommend this product for anyone wanting a staircase of almost infinite height (if you have the time, patience and lots of kits!). :-)
