A Useful Pamplet That Makes Me Want More
I purchased this item because my dad, a veteran of the 4th Inf. Div., passed away on Memorial Day two years ago. Although this booklet was useful, it was not the sort of unit history I was hoping for.
It covers in overview the major campaigns in which the 4th Inf. Div. was involved, in summary, but it fails to develope the details. Yes, the drive to St. Lo and the later Hurtgen Forest & Ardennes battles were exhausting slug-fests, but why? Maybe some greater description of the terrain? I would pay good money for a full unit history, but this was too superficial to be it.

An essential item for the MST3K fan/collector.
1 of 1 found this helpful Fast becoming a favorite volume of the MST3K compilation series, this bundle stands out for its sampling of episodes from each "era" of MST3K. Starting with "Crawling Eye" the first network episode produced (though it aired after "The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy"), continuing with "Beatniks" from later in the Joel Hodgson era, then on to Mike Nelson in his stride with "Final Conflict" and the classic Rowsdower riffs, and finally "Bloodwaters of Dr. Z" from the late era, season 9, we see the development of the concept as writers & cast settle in, the changes in dynamics brought on by personnel changes, and the wide range of humorous interpretation the show was famous for, from schtick to esoteric jabs at the media and society in general. If I could only keep 1 volume on the proverbial desert island, this would probably be it.

Solid Euro "tech tree builder"
Slick production values and smooth game play make this a solid entry in the Euro game arena for my group. Extra cards beyond those needed and random placement means that each game will be slightly different, though long-term replayability remains a question.
