Gilmour 3000-sq ft Oscillating Sled Lawn Sprinkler, Poor design and cheap construction. Older version was much better and reliable.
1 of 1 found this helpful Unfortunately, the Gilmour 3000-sq ft Oscillating Sled Lawn Sprinkler is a 'miss', in my opinion. The plastic construction isn't sturdy enough to provide stability of the unit on uneven surfaces. The action mechanism/arm pops off the guide screw too easily, resulting in the oscillating motion to stick. The remedy is to press firmly on the plastic arm/guide to pop the piece back onto the plastic plate. (please, forgive my lack of appropriate terminology). The sled portion flexes too much, which adds to the pressure on the arm (the plastic piece, with the oblong opening, that goes from the setting mechanism to the guide plate (plastic piece that determines the action of the sprinkler). In my case, I have a very slight unevenness in my lawn area, so the sticking became a real problem. In addition, this sprinkler doesn't allow for a medium or low water setting and/or pressure, if you don't want the full spray height/reach, or if your water supply pressure is low by nature. I replaced this unit with the AquaJoe Metal Base Oscillating Sprinkler - SJI-OMS16, which is a little more expensive, but it is a much better unit. It doesn't have any of the design problems that the Gilmore has, and I like that the base is a heavy metal. The AquaJoe also handles low water pressure issues without phasing the unit's operation at all.
I'd recommend finding a different sprinkler other than this Gilmore, unless your yard area is very flat and you plan on using it at full water pressure. If this is your situation, I'd recommend this product, but not otherwise.

L'anza Healing ColorCare line, Great Products!
Can't go wrong with L'anza products. This is a great combo for chemically treated hair. Healing line is a great product! Another great product by L'anza!

Multi Bag Luggage Strap Works Great!
Purchased this for a trip to Grenada, and it was a life saver for getting my three pieces of luggage moving!
I especially like that each strap is adjustable. Big plus for traveling with different width luggage pieces.
