Worth it.
As advertised, buy this instead of some oem trash

Couldn't be happier
6 of 6 found this helpful Put this on my 91/30 mosin "scout", I'm running 203 grain brown bears that ate the last scope (one of those trash AIM Sports scout scopes) before it was zeroed. This is my first vortex and I'm more than pleased, for the price you can't beat it.
This scopes very clear, gathers light well, I like the adjustment turrets alot, being able to reset them to your zero is pretty nifty. I like the reticle as well, basic but effective. If I ever get a rifle that requires a long eye relief scope again I'd get another vortex in a heartbeat, unless I win the lottery and can afford a Leopold.

Do what I didn't and read the reviews!
1 of 4 found this helpful Very clear scope, doesn't feel cheap. Adjustments are crisp, eye relief is consistent from 2-7. it's holding zero but it is mounted on a bull barreled .22 with about as much recoil as a sneezing mosquito and I don't treat my rifles poorly so I can't really say much for what it will suffer...so why three stars? Its got tunnel vision, meaning you can see all the giggly bits inside the scope while still having a perfect sight picture. It's strange, but I got used to it quickly and it suits my needs just fine.
