  After no communication or action to mail my item to me several days after purchase date, I requested the order be cancelled. Seller rejected my request so I assumed item would then be mailed. A week later and item still hasn’t been mailed. I informed EBay, who finally refunded me. Zero communication from seller at any point during this transaction - but they obviously saw the order when they chose to reject my cancellation request.
