Excellent short form US History text
Excellent text book. I teach at a high school where the social studies dept doesn't have textbooks so we are each left to our own devices as far as how to approach teaching the class. Although i dont feel the need to slavishly follow a textbook in the traditional cycle of read the chapter and have an end of chapter test, any class does need a base and a textbook provides that base off of which other things can easily piggyback. As I inspected this textbook, i found a wonderful text that is in the goldilocks zone. It does not go on and on at length but at the same time it is not as sparse as the AMSCO US History textbook. It is excellent for my purposes. Would highly recommend this as a readable and very approachable US history to anyone who has been long out of school and would like a refresher history text. It is a very reader friendly text. The seller was great and the text was brand new as promised.
