Spectacular
If you like or love Beethovens music you have to watch this DVD. All the characters are people Beethoven dealt with in his lifetime, pretty cool. And the music is played live by an actual orchestra in costume! It’s an amazing look into the day he premiered his Eroica symphony number 3. Back in those days most music was only for the Aristocratic nobility. It would be more than six months after he premiered this symphony before the rest of Vienna would hear it. His patron paid him 2000 florens for 6 months of exclusive rights to the symphony so he could play it for the nobility at gatherings at his palace.
Get it, enjoy it. Ludwig van Beethoven the greatest composer the world has ever known.
