Digital Precision Gives New Life To Older Aircraft ADFs
This unit which operates on 12 volts was designed to provide a DIGITAL indication of frequency by simply making a one wire (plus 470 pf small cupling capacitor) connection into older style Aerial Direction Finder (ADF) equipment such as Bendix T^-12C used in aircraft. Precision from analog! Simple to add to aircraft. I imagined other frequency counter applications to some other radios in range of 200 Khz up to 3 Mhz. I wish Davtron still made these as some of the older ADF receivers in aircraft can outperform some of the new stuff in terms of radio reliability and sensitivity.
