Sony SC-CS5 A surprising sound!
So impressive for a bargain speaker! After my first listen I could hardly believe the wide soundstage and almost dead on imaging. I heard MANY new details in the high range of sound, such as the soft percussive tap I heard in the left stereo field on Fleetwood Mac's The Chain. Instrument separation is definitely a feature here. I have watched a few YouTube reviewers that state the super tweeter has no effect on the sound quality at all. To this, I say "Wrong." So look, the most expensive set of speakers I have owned were the Klipsch RP 500m's, which, to be honest, at least to my ears, do not have the same clarity in the highs OR the mids. I know that there are thousands of speakers that will blow these from the water, But at THIS price point? I am VERY pleased with this purchase!
