New band better than buying a new watch
The watchband that came on the watch was on the display case tightly causing the band to retain the shape memory. This caused it to split too early in it's use. The new watchband that I purchased here was in a retail package, flat, and had no shape memory. I have been using it for some time now and it is not showing any signs of splitting or problems. Although getting a new watch would have been just a little more cost, I feel this was a better way to go since the watchband will give me much more life that a new watch watchband in the typical display case configuration.
