Fun, exciting movie for the whole family
1 of 1 found this helpful this is a 1964 Disney movie for kids. It does have some danger and smoking, but overall it is a great movie for kids and the family. Obviously, there are no cell phones or modern devices, but that is to be expected. It was filmed in Germany (Berlin, I believe), but it is in English. The kids do a pretty good job of acting -- better than the adults. Little ones may get scared when the main boy gets trapped in a tunnel, but this is Disney, so it all turns out okay.

Green Street Hooligans (2006, DVD)
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this film to was Elijah Wood in a different kind of role. I expected to be surprised, since he plays such a rough fighter -- however, I felt he pulled it off quite well. His transformation from quiet, shy college kid to the tough street thug fighter he becomes was believable and actually quite convincing.
While this is a bloody, violent film (and not for children!), I found it to be believable and got caught up in the action as it progressed. This truly could have happened to a young man visiting England. It was somewhat predicable, once you discover the conflict, and you expect the tragic results, but all in all, it was a very interesting film.

This MTV show was fantastic, although maybe not for younger kids. It got bloody pretty fast and gets scarier as the series goes on. The characters are easy to identify with as you root for the good guys and hate the werewolf hunters. It was easy to get hooked and the characters are engaging. If you love werewolves and folk lore, this is the series for you.
