A Christmas story "Leg lamp"
Lamp is cheaply made and shade and mount has to be messed with to obtain a straight position. Lamp also does NOT have a switch to turn it off and on. Poor design. Clever idea but not thought out.

Not sure why some 1 said it all loosened up but mine seems very solid when tightened up(leg- sections)
Just as long as you don't put an over-abundance of muscle in it when tightening there shouldn't be a problem...other than the obnoxious mounting system for your camera (Allen wrench!) to be able to "USE" the friggin thing, mine seems like butter for the price. Tripod is very easy to transport and ball head is nice if not overloaded...only holds 8.8 lbs. "successfully"!
Carry bag is a nice plus also.
Would recommend this tripod on a budget...on sale of course!
