Though used, it works well. Luckly the plastic clips were still in good enough shape to properly snap onto the motherboard mounting holes. Temps are remaining at good levels once I cleaned and applied new paste to the CPU and the cooler.

Older Product But Patched To Support Modern Drives
With the latest firmware from Adaptec, this controll, as well as the 8-port model (3805), work perfectly with 4 X 6TB WD Red Drives. RAID 5 setup and formatted to full capacity. I also ran the long Initialize and Verify process, which took about 1 full day, but it confirmed that all was working as it should.

A great package
Works well, but will not be detected as the correct power supply for other model laptops. Basically, you will get an adapter warning if you use this with a Dell, etc.
