It works.
It actually worked. Had to modify the install to make it a fresh install on a laptop, but it worked.

I did not think it could do it.
1 of 2 found this helpful It's strong, tuff and I just pulled out three small stumps and one medium size stump with it, and this winch did it with ease. Great winch, I would recommend. Oh by the way, you don't have to run the negative all the way to the battery, just to a good ground on the trunk and make sure it's a good ground; otherwise you see sparks because the winch is trying to find a better ground. Other than that, if you plan of putting the winch on the back of the truck, buy about 20-25 ft of 2 gauge power cable and quick disconnects. This winch did not come with those items.

Mounts a smittybilt 9500 winch very well.
1 of 1 found this helpful Just what one needs if you are going to mount to the rear of a truck. The only thing one needs is to put in quick disconnects, so that way if you ever have to pull the mount out, you can quickly disconnect it from the power coming from the battery. It's strong. Pulled three small stumps out and one medium size stump out of the ground.
