Always like a bit of a heel on a wedge.
I try to keep slightly high wedge sandals with arch support in order to avoid heel problems. These fit the bill. Crocs are also desirable to rinse off quickly when they get trashy from outside work.

Slouch style is hard to find!
Pigskin is so very tough. The slouch style is great for short, chubby legs and the heel height is quite comfortable. This is my third pair of this Dingo boot.

Nice to be aware of your traveling surroundings...
1 of 1 found this helpful I always try to carry a topo map of the areas where we plan to travel. It's nice to find the name of counties, rivers, creeks,etc. I usually use a highlighter to mark our paths. The first few years, I used a different color for each year and dated in the margins. That way I knew how long it had been since we traveled those roads. But after a few years, I ran out of colors. Then it was time for an updated map.
