Awesome flatwound strings!

My favourite strings... silky smooth to the touch and great tone. I already have them on an Epi Joe Pass Emperor II, a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, and on a '59 style Stratocaster, and I really love the feel and the sound of them. Recently put a set on the Telecaster i mainly use for jazzy stuff, and they sound great on both the Seymour Duncan Jazz neck humbucker and the SD Broadcaster bridge pickup. They may be a bit pricey, but they are well worth it in my opinion, especially since they seem to keep sounding consistently good for a long time!

Great disc, with SRV in prime form in different settings.

As a huge SRV fan, I wanted this to complete my collection. Recorded apparently on his birthday, it runs the full gamut from the classic Double Trouble band to tracks with a full horn section along with guest vocalist Angela Strehli and an extra guitarist (his big brother Jimmy); finishing up with a beautiful solo version of 'Lenny' and a solo 'Rude Mood'. If you love SRV, you need this music!

SRV and Double Trouble at thier best

As a longtime fan of SRV, this was a must have. It's as simple as that... if you love his playing, and his band, you're going to love this ! Good track selection, great sound. Buy it, play it, love it.
