Just what we wanted.
These two televisions are like new, but half the price that I would have paid from a high street retailer. They work exactly as described and are ideal as a TV for the guest rooms in our B&B. The picture and sound are clear and crisp. Excellent value for money.

Dell Inspiron 530 L03 main board
Unlike the earlier L02 motherboard which only supports dual core and core 2 duo processors, this motherboard will run a selection of core 2 quad CPUs, up to 2.4GHz. It is identical in layout to the earlier motherboard so it is a straight swap to upgrade the tower. No upgrade to the heat sink and fan is needed, so at around £20 for the board and about £15 for a core 2 quad 2.33GHz CPU, this is a very cost effective upgrade.

1 of 1 found this helpful This processor is one of the most cost effective upgrades you can make to an ageing desktop PC. I used mine to upgrade a Dell OptiPlex 745 from a Pentium D 3.0GHz up to this Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz. The Dell manual does not include this CPU in it's list of approved upgrades, but from reading a few online forums it was apparent that with the latest BIOS version 2.6.4 the motherboard accepts this processor and runs it perfectly well. There is also no need to upgrade the existing heat sink and fan arrangement. This improved the windows aero rating for the processor from 4.7 to 7.1 running 64 bit Windows 7. For less than £20 my customer now has a desktop PC which can cope seamlessly with most modern software packages.
