Well-spent ten bucks toward an empty slot.
Highly recommended. I bought my first EverCool SB-F1 Fox-1 Cooling Fan back in September, 2011. I mounted it right next to my graphics card to draw heat away from it and out the back of the case. I run my machine pretty much 24./7. I could feel with my hand all the heat it was drawing out. And it was silent.
The bearings finally started to rattle in Feburary, 2019. That's almost EIGHT YEARS of 24/7 service. For about ten bucks. You can't go wrong. I bought up two more NOS units right here on eBay, one to replace the failed unit ... and another to go into my current build.
By the way, this fan does NOT require an actual slot. It just needs the empty space to mount into a PCI slot. I feed it power off a 4-pin Molex connector.

Had one for a year and no problems ...
I've owned one of these for about 10 months. So far, so good, so I just bought another one here on eBay.
I use it routine for back-ups. It had software on it for synching backups and I deleted it entirely without any problem. This drive also does NOT require any drivers or software installation, just plug it into the USB port and you have yourself a plug-n-play lettered drive to which you can copy files.
It's a bit heavy for its size. Sweet! That implies to me that its sturdy and less likely to be damaged when it gets bumped around.
When shopping/comparing, take note of the similarity of models; do your research. The picture here shows 40+ light perforations. They illuminate and stay illuminated whenever the drive is up and running. My drive has only 14 light perforations.
Also the "Go" series was retired around December, 2010, while the "GoFlex" model was retained. I THINK the "GoFlex" model, which has zero light perforations, requires external power.

Very cool in-dash receiver
I owned one of these JVC Arsenal KD-AR5500 units (a long time ago). It was very nice but I let it go with that car when I traded. Several really nice features:
(1) touch-screen, nice.
(2) you can change the color to whatever you want.
(3) face-plate snaps off to take with you to prevent theft (it won't work without that specific face plate, the unit and the face plate are serialized to match).
(4) Store your music on SD cards and insert one into unit to play it.
(5) It displays JPGs & GIFs. I had it installed in a Caddy, so I used my computer to create the right-sized JPG of a Caddy logo ... saved it into the JVC unit ... and that was the JVCs default display for the screen when it wasn't being used. Sweet!
