Dell 1800 Server
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased a Dell 1800, dual processor server with 3 160 GB hard drives. I replaced the hard drives with 3 1 TB, 7200 RPM drives (very easy to do) and now use it as a dedicated seerver in my small office network (9 users). It performs like a champ. While I have it set up for RAID 1 (I have the 3rd drive as a spare), it is capable of 6 hard drives in RAID 5. Very fast, with good support from Dell. At %500, a steal compared to Dell's T300 at $3500.
