Quality product and well worth the money
2 of 2 found this helpful I have tried several types of flashlight mounts and have been disappointed in the products. They would generally loosen and slide over time from the shotgun's recoil. I figured I would "bite the bullet " and spend the money for this forend flashlight.. It is well worth the money and should last a life time. Very high quality product .that looks like it is factory installed. Fits perfectly on my 870 Remington. Easy to turn on and off, either steady light or quick flash with the built in pressure switch.. I have other Streamlight flashlights and Streamlight is top of the line. The illumination from my other flashlights as well as this forend light are brilliant. They really light up the room. The forend light really doesn't add much noticeable additional weight to the gun.
Installation should have been easier than it was due to operator error. It took me longer to find a tool to remove the forend nut than the actual process itself. A shotgun forend wrench is definitely something that would speed up the process. Installation after that was very simple.
After installation was complete, I realized my sling which was attached to the barrel lug was blocking the beam from the flashlight. I'm still working on this dilemma but have removed the sling in favor of having the excellent illumination from the forend light.
I couldn't be happier with this product. It's the perfect addition to my home defense shotgun.

Excellent High Quality Product
I own a previous model of this push cart and have gotten several years of use out of it so far. I expect to get many more years of use as the construction is high quality and rugged. I purchased this new cart for my wife and it is as high or higher quality than my previous cart. They have upgraded the bag carrying system to include securing devices on both the top and bottom of the cart. I previously used a bungee cord to secure my bag. This is definitely something which was needed and they didn't disappoint. The setup and breakdown of these carts is easy and fast. They are light weight and compact when broken down and fit in the car easily. There is a beverage holder, covered storage area for extra pencils, tees, scorecard etc., detachable umbrella holder and netting to carry head covers, extra clothes, snacks etc. There is a holder for tees and two extra balls on the handle. The braking system is located on the handle and easy to reach and deploy. The cart is very secure from rolling when the brake is on.
This cart is very well thought out and the upgrade is even better than the original. I see a lot of 4 wheel carts out now and can't comment on their maneuverability but the 3 wheel design of the Sun Mountain cart is effortless. Sun Mountain has made excellent quality and design products for years and they have done an excellent job on this product.
