WIN 10 LICENSE KEY WAS ACCEPTED
The license worked: with the license key and the free download of Windows 10 I wound up with a fully functional win10 laptop. I needed the windows redo because the harddrive in my 2nd hand laptop turned up dead after I dropped the laptop.

It works as advertised
It does what it is meant to do: hold the drive steady in the drive bay. Quiet? yes (no way to make sound). Fast? no: does not move. Reliable? I suppose so: in three days it has not failed. All pieces parts were and are present. No installation instructions, but if you were in position to want one you probably have enough mechanical gumption to handle the install. A bit more complicated than a bobby pin, but manageable.
