Modified the factory stock for this to work, success.
7 of 7 found this helpful I bought this to convert my Remington 700VS in 308w. I had to inlet my stock a good bit, but i took my time and removed small amounts of material very slowly, each time stopping to check the fit. I did not modify the trigger housing, just in case it didnt work out i could always relist it as "like new". If you look on YouTube you will see a few butcher-jobs where guys cut the "ears" off of the trigger housing, but this will cause the magazine to rock back and forth. DONT DO IT. Take your time with a dremel and removal the stock material only. Just make sure nothing is binding or your get the screws in a pinch or the magazine will be aggravating to remove. Take your time. Time wont cost you anything, but over-aggressive dremeling will ruin your stock and make for an ugly hack job. Good Luck-enjoy
