Excellent companion to the complete sailor.

Halsey Herreshoff , naval architect, yacht designer, Ocean race Navigator, and sailboat museum director, from Bristol , R.I. USA. ; like his fore-bearers, Capt. Nat, Grand Uncle John, then well know author, uncle L. Francis Herreshoff, and on to his father Sidney, Halsey Herreshoff has the magical ability to give any sailing man, (or lady) for that matter, all the wisdom that one might need to know so as to better pursue or favorite pastime, SAILING ! He is a fountain of knowledge and that is so very well presented in this book. I have a copy I keep in my yacht's Salon, this however, is the 3rd copy I have bought; as I give them to worthy people whom I meet and feel that they could benefit from the sage concepts presented in this well laid out, beautifully illustrated just plain wonderful volume by by this fourth great Herreshoff.
