Mini Display Port Thunderbolt to HDMI VGA DVI Adapter For MacBook Pro Mac A Y1K2

Did NOT work with our 2 macbook pro's and Dell monitors connected with DVI cable.

I ordered 2 copies of this adapter and tried to use them with macbook pro mid 2014 13'' and macbook pro 15'' late 2011, lates macOS (High Sierra) installed on both, to connect 2 different Dell monitors. Both adapters on both computers had the following defect - after connecting the screen on the external monitori started flickering in a pattern: for 10 seconds the picture is normal, then for a second the picture shows just grey noise. This was the pattern with DVI cable. The VGA cable did not transmit any signal at all to the monitor. HDMI connection seems to be more stable than DVI. Since I needed to use DVI, these adapters were not useful to me. Because both items had the same problem and on 2 different computers I assume it is a systematic defect not an accidental error. I do not recommend this product to any macbook pro user.

Works well in a hackintosh

I used this wifi adapter to turn my Lenovo T420 into a Mac OS X running Hackintosh. It works well in this role. Lenovo has Mac OS X El Capitan installed.
