Awesome wireless storage option.
This is pretty nice for what you pay. It feels like it’s a quality made device.
The iPhone app can’t stream video but if you download VLC Mobile and look for the local network option in the menu and your File server will be listed as long as it’s connected to your phone. It works great for streaming movies but there’s no resume. The Sony app for the file server works fine for everything else . I bought this as a means of getting photos off an SD card onto my iPad Pro. All of the other features are just bonuses.
I can’t speak for battery life yet but it hasn’t let me down yet.

Decent Hybrid for the price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I get about 4 minute spin times in a brass Asmodus spinner. It's slightly smaller than the original bearing but that was easy to deal with. A layer of tape around the bearing and it fits tight. My Asmodus spinner is right up there with the best I have now. Pretty good upgrade for the price considering how much a full ceramic bearing costs. It appears well made. The inner and outer race are steel, the ball separator appears to be plastic and the balls are black ceramic. Id recommend it as a cheaper upgrade for your r188 spinners.

This is exactly what I needed.
3 of 3 found this helpful The quality appears to be good enough. It will work with any heating pad but you need to decide how to set up the temperature probe. I wanted the floor of the tank to be around 90 degrees for my leopard geckos so I placed the temp sensor on the heating pad under the tank. When the pad reaches 90 degrees the power is shut off by the thermostat and when it drops 2 degrees below 90 it kicks back on. It keeps the floor where the geckos hide around 85-89 degrees. If you stick the probe to the inside of the tank it will be measuring air temp and will not kick off the heating mat until the over all temp reaches 90 inside the tank but that will cause the mat to reach temps of 100 plus degrees using a medium size mat for a 10-20 gallon tank and that’s just too hot from what I’ve learned.
Don’t use a heat mat without a thermostat that is properly setup or you can cook your reptiles. You can save money buying a mat that includes a thermostat but this a good option as well as it can be re used if the mat fails. For an additional cost of $20 it is worth it to buy this. Reptiles are just one use. It also works well with a heating mat for seed germination.
