Epic failure. Just don't...
Let's see, bright light after 3 hour charge lasts for less than 10 seconds before dimming to medium or lower lighting level.
Lights up for up to 10 hours? Maybe, if you set it on lowest setting and used it in a very dark room.
Unless you leave it plugged into to a charging block ALL THE TIME, it is useless for as being a portable light.
Would I recommend this to my worst enemy? Maybe, I can be vindictive.
I am extremely disappointed in this piece of junk.
Do not waste your money on this.

Quality burial flag case
Well packaged and quality built. Very satisfied with this case. Beautiful wood, clear glass, detailed Navy emblem, and a respectful overall appearance.
An elegant tribute to our brave warriors.

From one end to the other, this is one great compound crossbow.
1 of 1 found this helpful I've used several recurve crossbows, but after reading all the reviews, talking to actual owners, and researching the pros and cons - I finally decided to go with the Barnett Quad 400.
My biggest worry was finding myself out hunting and suddenly having a broken string or string/cable set. Since it is not practical to carry around a $400-600 sawhorse-sized bow press I had to find a better alternative. Fortunately, I found the Bowmaster Portable Bow Press.
The Quad 400 was leasy to assemble and is a piece of art to behold. Definitely solid, yet lightweight, this nicely balanced crossbow has all the punch and accuracy a hunter could want.
Although not mentioned, included was a spare bolt clip and cable slide. Also unmentioned is the Weaver/pickatinee rail that holds the quiver in place. This underbelly rail can also be used for bipods, lights, etc.
Although mine came with a three dot reticle, I opted to put on a 3rd party scope with features that I prefer. Using the quick detach mounts, my new scope fit nicely on the Quad's scope mount.
The fast bolt speed (345 fps) punches nice tight groups at 30 yards. The smooth 4lb trigger draw is awesome. It has nowhere near the kick that I was expecting and less vibration than I've ever known in a crossbow.
The ergonomic design of the stock gives you a comfortable pistol grip and the forearm keeps your fingers clear of the string path. The Safety button is metal, ambidextrous and nice to use.
I just had to try out the anti-dry fire feature and I am very happy to say that it actually works. No more worrying about an early firing while I am still trying to load a bolt.
All the way around I am very impressed with the Barnett Quad 400 and I look forward to using this fine American made crossbow for many years to come.
