Smart enough to know
Unlike the first review from a buyer. If you buy this sensor you should know it is not a stand alone. It requires the EAS input harness as well. Best price out there also. Perfect

Perfect OEM add on
1 of 1 found this helpful It is exactly what it says. Easy step by step instructions and all the hardware to install comes with this kit. Works perfect on our 2012 Optima EX 2.0t with push button start. And this is a much more economical option than a dealer add on.

Works but......
It has sufficient delay for my Cummings to let the glow plugs heat up, but does not sense the truck has started. Keeps turning over the starter. Spoke with the manufacturer and they say it won't hurt the flywheel but hard to believe. It was a little confusing to install but if you are somewhat wiring smart you can figure it out. Just disregard hooking up the start wire if you have a 07 Cummings.
