After years of hammer bite I finally switched to a beaver tail grip safety. Now i'm mad i didn't do it 30 years ago. I dropped this grip safety into my 70 series colt. No fitting required. Under 3 minutes to install. If your running around constantly with a scab from getting pinched between the hammer and grip safety you will appreciate this conversion. I guess I just wanted to keep my pistol all original but glad I switched now

Talon Grip Wrap

Wow , what a difference. Twice the grip now. Makes a big difference being able to maintain a positive grip for follow up shots. Especially with a small frame pistol. Very easy to instal even without reading the instructions until after I put it on. ( Its a guy thing) I'm going to try and find a set for all mu polymer frame guns now.
