Great model
Great model, sufficient detail to make the building interesting. Very nostalgic of spending evening sitting at the sides of highways.

Great Model
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a superb model. And kinda of a "tweener" the '53 didn't really break new ground stylistically. With it's big softly rounded fenders and high hood it has a look which hearkens back to the late 40's designs. But it's a real "looker" in its own right when it's all done up. This model comes with all the dress-up parts: fender skirts, continental kit rear tire, and lots of detail parts. A good car with the usual fitment issues that plague AMT (hoods fitment into body, frames fitment under body, etc.) All workable, but ... a bit of a pain.
Great looking model once finished. A very nice addition to my collection and over-all an absolute delight, both to have painted and built it, and to display it.
