OK if you do not need anything more than a quick rough measurement.
I purchased two units, they turned out to have subtle differences in how they are made and they measure different temperatures, the difference is higher than the accepted error rate for these devices. Perhaps they are OK for food if you are working well within a safe range, just don't take risks with the reading they give you.

A good balance of value for money and quality.
Great value and quality, the stainless steel should give the items a long life and make cleaning in a dishwasher easy.

Very good, for the price, but not perfect.
It is a good product and a very good price, however if you are familiar with the competing product from Fiji you may be a little disappointed at it has a tint to it and possibly even some solids that could have been filtered out. As for flavour and freshness etc. it seem fine, so very good value for money.
