Works well. Nothing in life is perfect.
The system is good but slow to respond. I think this is pretty typical of this type of device. Ours is hard-wired (no WiFi). The only problem has been the illumination light cover, which ham-fisted delivery people tend to crunch, rather than pressing the call button. The covers are not particularly easy to replace and are not cheap.

Diamond pads
These were cheap but they do not perform nearly as well as ones I have purchased in stores. The loop backing is thinner and comes off faster and the cutting surface is not nearly as durable. The Dremel brand pads I've gotten locally have really been good, these, not so good.
