Poor Scholarship
The problems with this book are too numerous to enumerate. I will limit my fremarks to two general aspects. First, it is an apologia for Robert McNamara, the Secretary of Defense for much of the period covered. Nothing wrong with this per se; McNamara has sometimes been treated unfairly (for example, in David Halberstam's work), but the author takes McNamara's 1990s nostrums too facilely and uncritically. This attitude permeates the work and hurts its claim to some degree of objectivity. Second, there are numerous factual errors, and many contradictory conclusions. For example, the communists in the South are simultaneously portrayed as indigenous and exogenous throughout.

Like new
This adapter is a usede example of the one that came with my camera, which has been misplaced. It was hard to find an adapter for a camera of that age, but this is like new and works great. Fast and efficient delivery.
