toyota Corolla
This is the first car I ever bought brand new. At first, there was the "buyers remorse" thinking that maybe I could have gotten a better deal etc., but after putting 190,000 miles on it, with NO problems, I couldn't be happier. At 124K miles, I took it in for a new set of plugs, wiring harness, water pump and timing belt. Parts and labor were $575. Not bad! Also, I live in Alaska and the driving conditions here are some of the most trying you could ask for! This little car - with the proper tires - handles great and gets around really well. We are in a very "rural" area, so help is not always avaiable. Dependability is not an option, it's a must! I'll be buying another when and if this little guy calls it quits. It may be a few years yet, but that's fine here. Oh, 40 mpg still!
