Part did not work, although it was marked Fits Your Vehicle
The cable ends have a manufactured piece barbed that spreads to hold it in place on the latch mechanism and lever mechanism. The pulling force of the lever tugs and spreads the barbs so they are not in a fixed location, and the cable does not stay in a static location, rendering it nonfunctional. The original factory end pieces are a much harder plastic, and the new unit ends are a very soft type of vinyl. Visually identical but different in material and quality. Also the cable is about 3/8" longer that the original and may contribute to the issue
