Arm was a total failure from the start, before even actuating it.
Arm is made of extremely thin and weak plastic at a point along its length where it is subject to great stress owing to the tension of the spring. When I installed it on the spindle, it sat there for about 2 minutes appearing ready to use. I put my tools away, heard a snap, and looked back to see the broken-off arm lying on the pavement. Recommend product be pulled until it can be improved. Summary: Arm construction and materials too weak to even withstand the tension created by the supplied spring.
