"This little light of mine.."
1 of 1 found this helpful With a useful design and feature set, this lamp performs up to expectations. It doesn't disappoint. The night light feature is particularly attractive. The selector button works with sufficient press. The battery case is easily accessible.
The power source is double A batteries.
Now, the instructions discuss a flash feature. Mine doesn't have that feature. There is a momentary pulse from night light to off when the button is pressed. The next press is for a lamp function.
Power requirements: Voltage is critical for this lamp. Rechargeable batteries, no matter how new or "hot", do not deliver sufficient voltage to operate any functions. The circuit must be rated for at least 1.4 volts, since I tried it with some still working at 1.31 volt batteries, which would not fire the lamp. Rechargeables can be as hot as 1.41 fresh out of the charger, but the drain was more than the batteries could deliver.
So be prepared to keep fresh alkalines in this attractive, cost effective lamp, and remember to check them periodically so they don't leak out from lack of use.

Mixed Bag
1 of 1 found this helpful The light itself is sufficient, bright. The instructions warn about heat and moisture, so if one uses it on the BarBe, Be-ware.
Mostly, I didn't care for the clamp. It holds best inverted, causing the flex arm to be bent nearly under and over. That isn't recommended by the manufacturer.
On an accommodating surface, the clamp may work OK.
