Save and make your own patch cables
The tool works fine, I had not used one before and this was a good place to start. Makes good, solid connection after you learn to separate Ethernet wires and thread them into the rj45 connectors. YouTube and wire code diagrams online, this tool and the stripper that comes with it, some rj45 connectors and you are in business.

Solid product
These are a great buy. It came with a 64 Gb mini sd installed. Works flawlessly, I put ripped movies on it and watch on my kindle or iPad- great for that long flight or even a hospital stay!
