To thick
1 of 1 found this helpful On my Sony a7R2 the mounting part is to thick, so it's impossible to see the whole picture in the the eye-viewer. How it works on other models I am not sure.

Exakta mount -completely locked without the the slightest movement
I have a few of these, it's the best Exakta for Sony E Mount Adapter I've tried because it's possible to bend the hook at the end of the lock pin to fit the very old Exact mount lenses - the first pre and post ww2 chrome / brass Biotar f:1.5/7.5cm among others - whose locking pin is located a little further away than on other Exakta mount lenses. Although the locking system looks a bit old-fashioned, it is very effective, the lens is completely locked without the possibility of the slightest movement. I have had several Contax RF, QBM, C/Y, Pentax K, EOS bayonet mount, where the locked adapter could be turned a little bit, not a nice feeling, and the M42, M39, M26 etc. thread mount is possible to loosen when it is absolutely not desirable due to their missing lock. Exakta mount has none of these problems. It was designed in 1936 for the Kine Exakta -perhaps the first 35mm SLR camera. Different camera companies used the mount, among others the Japanese hi-end brand Topcon. It was used until 1977.

Little money for great protection
For very little money you can protect your expensive camera. It works perfect and it is easy to mount.
