Doesn't work with LEDs
2 of 2 found this helpful I installed LED tail lights in my Toyota pickup which seems to freak this Hopkins controller out. BEWARE, if you run LEDs this may not work for you, it doesn't for me. Seems nice quality, sure wish it would have said not LED compatible, wasting my money. I verified with Hopkins tech support that the problem was LED related. With it installed brakes make the turn signal lights on the dash light, right turn signal makes both left and right blink while left turn signal works fine, and I'm talking about truck lights, not trailer. Buying a Curtis next. If you have normal incandescent bulbs this is actually a nice, well made, product.

Plug it in ...
... and forget about it. Not much to say about a switch, just plug it in. Speed seems fine but have not actually benchmarked it.

Badly Damaged
It arrived so badly bent up I ended up throwing it away, no idea how good it worked or not. I tried straightening the metal parts but it just wouldn't go back to the original form.
