Fast, durable, customizable, and easy to install

I got this to replace the stock system in my Team Associated RC18MT. The motor fit in the motor mount perfectly, and it left the perfect amount of room for the ESC. I really liked how it even came with some double sided mounting tape to mount the ESC and power switch, and small zip ties to keep everything organized. Really great touches there. Programming the ESC was super easy. Just plugged it in to the programming card, and make the changes needed. I think I only ended up changing 2 settings or so. Super happy with how easy the install was. Performance is awesome! I'm really happy I got this motor instead of the 7800kv motor. That would just be too fast. This motor is a lot faster than the stock motor, but the thing that amazed me was how much smoother it drove with this new system. It's not fast to the point of being uncontrollable either. The thing also has tons of torque; my little truck can drive through grass way better than it could before. It's even quieter than the stock setup. The low voltage cutoff just shuts down the motor and makes an LED blink. Ideally I'd like an alarm so that I know when it's near the cutoff, but I can get one of these separately if I really want that. Really, no complaints here at all. And all of this for the price I paid is a pretty awesome bargain! Highly recommended for any 18th scale RC vehicle.

Works great, range is alright

Very easy to pair up with a Windows 10 PC and an Android tablet. Keys all feel good and clicky. The trackpad is actually really responsive and the multi-touch scrolling works great. Range is just ok, but using the included USB extender and bringing the bluetooth adapter away from the computer helped a lot. It's usable up to about 15-20 feet away from my PC, so I do wish the range was just a little bigger. The sleep functionality (it will sleep after a couple minutes of inactivity) works great. Push any button to wake it up and it's reconnected in maybe 2-3 seconds. The micro usb port to recharge the battery is good since I can just use a normal phone charger. Battery life seems to be very good; I haven't had to charge it yet and not needing AA batteries is great. The backlight isn't the brightest in the world, but it is plenty in a dark room. Overall, I highly recommend this if you're looking for a convenient way to control a PC from afar.
