Works great!
I've been using one of these for cell phone charging for a year now with no problems. My phone goes into quick-charge mode within seconds of being plugged in, and charges rapidly. Sometimes I have two phones charging -- I haven't noticed any issues with this, but I haven't been looking critically, either. The unit generally stays just slightly warm during use. I like the folding plug.

Fitting not crimped, blew off
I hooked up this hose and pressurized it. The male end was leaking, so I was tightening it when the male fitting blew out of the hose, drenching me. Upon inspection, I saw that the crimp collar was barely deformed, so it was not crimped properly. I took it to a hydraulic hose shop, and they recrimped it. I haven't tried it again since.

A great fit for a special need
This is a special power strip / surge protector because of the clamp. We got one a couple of years ago, and it was instrumental in cleaning up an area behind a living room end table from a rats nest with a regular power strip to a n area that is only a little messy. There are not too many places you can clamp it, but in cases where you can, it is worth its weight in gold.
It's a fine power strip, but I do have a couple of gripes: USB charging tech changes so fast, it's impossible to keep up. This strip features a couple of .05A USB charging ports that were the bees knees a few years ago when this was designed. But now with 2A and Quick Charge USB, these ports are obsolete. Get rid of them, and add another AC receptacle.
