Good Cord, Bad Design by GM
This cord fit my 2008 6.2L Yukon Denali perfectly and seems to work well. It's unfortunate that GM came up with such an overly complicated design. I usually use a timer on my engine block heater to save energy and I suppose that I can still do that, but the built-in thermostat on this cord means that on mornings above -18 degC, I'll still get no heating. I started to just replace the plug with a conventional one, but internet chatter said that strategy would generate engine codes. It's impossible to even test one of these cords until the temperature gets cold enough and then, there's no joy in working in that weather. Nevertheless, I'm grateful that I managed to find this item and didn't have to pay GM's ludicrously high OEM price.

Nice boots.
Fit as well as the original shock boots but were made from a better, heavier grade of rubber.
