Simple interface, reliable, almost perfect
I have purchase 3 Apple TVs, 1 of gen 1 and 2 of the new Apple TV. The new version is so much better! The picture quality is great and the connectivity to my HDTV is wonderful. The only gripe I have is that there is no support for HULU, bummer.
The only other HDTV has a computer connected so that we can watch HULU, as well as any other Internet content. It has been a challenge to my wife to deal with the browser issues on the computer, no complaints on using the Apple TV.

Great for controlling the lights from a nightstand.
We use X10 throughout the house and we have one of these units on each of our nightstands. They do not depend on a wireless signal, they go directly into the powerline for reliable operation. The shipping was good and fast.
