So after a bit of trial and error I managed to get this to work. First of all, THE PRODUCT IS NOT NEW. It should be listed as used. After opening the box, it was obvious based upon the water drops on the inside of the jar hinting at a quick rinse prior to shipment. A wiff of the jar revealed an obvious Olive Oil scent. Secondly, the mechanics isnt quite like something you would buy at walmart or something where it is ready out the box (the deceptive condition may have something to do with this). It was almost as if you had to put the spray mechanism together because unless it was screwed on ready to spray, every piece fell apart separating from each other without any attempt to do so. It was as if any adhesive applied at the manufacturer was stripped away in a washing machine or something. But after testing the whole thing out with water and seeing if it would spray it does definitely work. the build of the bottle, however, leaves much to be desired.
