Shall We Dance?
I rented this movie and loved it. I have a select few movies that I buy because I can watch them over and over, and this is one of those. I see that most women who have written a review for this movie liked it, plus a few guys who aren't afraid of their feelings! Good for you! I've seen both the American and Japanese versions and both are good. But not being able to speak Japanese, the subtitles were a little distracting. In the American version, the one scene that melts my heart is when Richard Gere is coming up the escalator in the tuxedo with the rose in his hand and the sweet smile on his face! I would give a thousand dollars to have a poster of that scene! (I've checked every poster company on the web and can't find it.)If you're a "macho man" or pretending to be one, don't bother seeing this movie. If you still believe in love and happy endings, rent it first and you'll want to buy it. Hope to see your review here soon!
