Good budget speakers
They are not design for high current amplifiers. I blow them up with an old school Autotek Mean Machine Model 66 (75X2 watts RMS @ 4 ohms) and only about 1/3 gain on the amp. They sound great at 1/4 gain on the amp. Other then that they are good budget speakers.

Nice Amp
Skar audio is the best bang for your buck when it comes to car audio. Great products for a fair price. $200 for a competition amp. People is know for running this amp @ 0.8 ohms and 0.5 ohms.
