ST-E2 function at a low cost
item works fine with Canon 7D and Canon 5D MkII. Swivel head increases ease of use. Price makes this very attractive over the Canon unit. Can't really rate battery life as I've not had it long enough.

Sharp and well made, great value
1 of 1 found this helpful Optically and mechanical handling, controls all are awesome. Great value. Weight(70 oz) and overall length at 600mm a bit more than some may not be comfortable with. A faster aperture would be nice but overall is a real deal.

Good value, quality camera with a LONG lens reach.
Great camera for someone not wanting to get into DSLR but still have lots of versatility. The 2.7 crop factor of the 1" images sensor is fine for soft-copy images but not great for making large prints (due to small sensor limitations). Very much a programable camera but way too many options and alternative settings that can confuse a beginner. Good value and image quality being what it is. Love the wide-angle to telephoto range.
